Adam Varjavandi
Adam hails from Dundee, Scotland and in 2004 moved to Xi’an, China where he obtained an Honours degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Shaanxi Normal University. He was taken under the wing of Professor Tang Han, where he pursued an interest in the ancient art of Shaanxi opera and became the first non-Chinese to perform this two thousand year old art form on stage.
